National 3 peak challenge · 12 October 2018

We are the UK’s leading fostering charity and the essential network for fostering. We support foster carers, fostering services and the wider sector to transform children’s lives. We work to ensure all fostered children and young people get the best possible care and experience stable family life.

Story

For those of you who know me I am not one for walking but this is something I wanted to achieve for a while, and I'm doing it for an amazing cause, so I am taking on the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales to raise money and support The Fostering Network. Considered one of Britain’s toughest outdoor challenges, the National 3 Peaks Challenge takes in the dizzy heights of Ben Nevis (1,344m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowdon (1,085m).

Myself and 13 of my colleagues will trek around 26 miles and ascend to a total height of almost 3,000m. This is a serious and tough challenge which requires a good level of fitness, as well as plenty of grit and a great deal of determination.

Thank you for your time, and please help me reach my goal.
