In January this year I was diagnosed with an A-Typical Form of MS. Straight away my life as I had known it for 26 years was turned upside down not only for me but my family aswell.

In the beginning I felt completely on my own. I didnt know anyone with MS let alone anything about the disease and found alot of peoples knowledge about MS extremely lacking - I felt totally isolated! 

Then I found my local MS Society Branch - North Herts. Straight away I was welcomed with the biggest of open arms and everyone I have met so far from the voleenteers to the people themselves with MS are just AMAZING! I have met so many people living with MS and have been able to listen to their experiences and share my own and just that part of the Society is invaluable.

The reason I am doing Movember is for two reasons:-

1) To raise money so that all the wonderful things the MS Society does for people with MS can continue.

2) To raise awareness. Hopefully the more people that are aware of the disease, the more educated people become, the life of MS sufferers is made slightly easier.

If I am able to educate just one person from doing this, then I have acheived something positve for all MS sufferers they meet in their life.

Please donate as much or as little as you can because every penny helps and can make so much of a difference to peoples lifes.
