Story

Hello PeePs

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

By supporting me through the next 3 months of my training, and ultimately the big day; the 20th of September, you will also be supporting a real great course...... the NSPCC....

As the NSPCC relies on the general public for 87 per cent of its donations, it faces great challenges in the current economic climate.

Every year the NSPCC sets itself specific and challenging aims against the four strategic objectives that we believe will end cruelty to children. At the end of each year we set out our progress against them in our annual impact report.

NSPCC inform is for all practitioners, researchers, trainers, policy-makers and other professionals in the UK. It provides free access to the most current information on child abuse, child protection and safeguarding in the UK

Taking part in NSPCC campaigns, you can help bring about lasting changes to protect children from harm.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

re: training progress;

Hi guys, just a quick note to keep you informed on how my training is going.  At the start it was difficult, i set myself 2 routes. The 1st being 10.4 miles and the 2nd, 3 miles long.  It did not take long to get into the swing of things and in the 1st month i managed over 40 miles.  I have been timing myself every time i run route 2 and my speed and stamina are increasing each time, with my time being under 18 minutes.  Month 2 i did not train as much.  Other aspects of my life became priority but I am starting a new job as a chef in 2 days and have never felt more motivated to be in good shape for the 20th of september.

I will continue to up- date you through out the rest of my training.......

13/8/09... well what can i say... we have a new member of the team... Brian has more than willingly opted in for the big day... come on!!! Any1 else that would like to get involved pls don't hesitate to contact me havsomeofdat@hotmail.co.uk
