Story
My name is Lee aka The Farke Knight and I love fundraising for many different charities and ive raised over £83,000 since 2007. In 2007 i raised £240 for the whole year and that was one event a fancy dress day fast forward to 2018 and i raised just under £15,000 for many different charities and as you can see year by year ive raised more and thats because of the help and support of the amazing community i live in as well as the norwich community. I'm so unfit and really struggle to walk a mile let alone run 26. I've decided to run/walk my first EVER marathon and start to exercise now and prove with time and dedication anything is possible. I hope you can give big or small and support me in my next fundraiser which I will find extremely difficult and if you know me you will probably be laughing at the thought of me running.
I have decided to fundraise for the Ledge foundation which you will read about in a second and I just want to say thankyou for all your support over the years as I would not be able to raise the money I do without you guys. Much love.
The Ledge Foundation was set up based on the story of Lewis Edge. At only 11 years old Lewis broke his leg while playing in the park, after a complication during surgery Lewis faced an uphill battle to recovery. After months spent at Royal London hospital Lewis is now on the mend but will never have full use of his leg again which no teenage should every face. Lewis and his family spent months travelling to and from Royal London hospital at a huge cost to the family. Our aim is to support with this expense after suffering trauma or injury.
Many thanks
Lee ( future marathon runner )
