Story
As you are all aware, my daughter, Becky, was diagnosed with leukaemia in November 2011 at the age of 21.
She had to interrupt her final year of studies at university to undergo five rounds of chemotherapy and four days of Total Body Irradiation before she received a bone marrow transplant from an unrelated donor (from the Anthony Nolan Trust) in May 2012 at Hammersmith Hospital (she now has two birthdays). She is currently doing well and has completed all of her treatment.
She went back to university in September 2013 to complete her degree in BA in Primary Education and graduated in July and by way of a thank you to The Anthony Nolan Trust we are regularly raising money for them.
