Story

Following on from the Three Peaks Challenge, here's the next bit of madness...

On September 17th I'm undertaking the Mountain Trail Challenge in the Brecon Beacons (along with the rest of the gang I did the Three Peaks with).  It's a 20 or 30 mile hike across peaks and ridges, and through valleys (we decide which distance to do on the day ... though I suspect we'll almost certainly go for thirty miles), with just a few rests for food and water.  The Three Peaks was 21 miles up and down mountains over 24 hours, with some rests in between climbs (if you can call being bounced around in a mini-bus resting...!).  This will be the same distance, but at constant effort.  A real endurance test.

I'm raising money for St David's Foundation again (see their link on the left).  They do a fine job of looking after terminally ill people in their own homes––they looked after my Mum, and they are angels. Please dig deep.  All donations and/or message of support or bemusement gratefully received.
