Secret !!!

Pete and Mark have worked together for a number of years (more than they care to share) and following the restrictions and struggles across the nation over the past couple of years, the dynamic duo (😂) wanted to take on a challenge together.

And who can blame them for choosing the glorious sights of Scotland ?

 And they chose to climb Ben Nevis!!

(I am sure it was for the Whiskey)!

Anyway,….Neither of them had considered doing this for charity and to have any recognition whatsoever. …. It was something for themselves.

And….I’m sure they have intended this to go un noticed   and to be honest there has been little training on Mr Whalleys part! …. Well he has been training in the whiskey drinking part 🤔

I am sure Mr Forbes will keep Pete in check!!

FYI; My name is Leanne Whalley and I am Petes wife. My mother passed away from cancer 2 years ago  and Petes step dad passed away with cancer the following year in 2021 … a bit of a crappy time, but you realise.. very quickly that time… and those in it ..is very very precious!

There are so many deserving charities out  there,  as any life lost is one too many.  

But Macmillan helps families so much and I am hearing too much that cancer is affecting so many families.

If I am completely honest there’s so many  charities that deserve acknowledgement and funding!    Maybe we will send them off annually 🤔 and help many other causes x

BTW: Neither Pete or Mark are travelling to Scotland or hiking Ben Nevis knowing I am putting this out here (!) 🤦‍♂️ I’m sure they just want a couple of nights away from their nagging wives 

So.. please keep this hush !! 

I just wanted to raise some awareness and a few pennies whilst they are away and maybe surprise them knowing they have raising a few pounds along the way..
