Story
To celebrate my 30th birthday this year, I'm asking my friends and family to help me raise money for the Sophie Hayes Foundation, a fantastic charity supporting women survivors here in the UK, which is launching its 1000 women in 1000 days campaign.
The need is great. Thousands of women need our help to stop the risk of re-trafficking and a lifetime of slavery. Our commitment is to break this chain with positive support for a better future...
One day at a time;
One woman at a time;
One life at a time.
You can help. Every, £1000 helps a women survivor:
Become employable with new skills and experiences;
Gain practical knowledge from writing CVs, to interview skills and digital training;
Build confidence through coaching and career planning;
Access new opportunities for studying, internships, volunteering and work placements; and
Get support through the survivors' network and community events.
Please donate, and we can help a survivor start her journey to independence.
