My friend Jacqui and I will be walking 10K at hopefully not a too embarrassing pace in this year’s Starlight Strut for Treetops Hospice Care on Friday May 17th 2019. We are walking in memory of my Mum, Gill, who would have had her 60th birthday in May this year. May will also be the first anniversary of her death, so this event feels a fitting tribute.

During the last couple of nights of Mum’s life Treetops provided Mum with overnight care at home. We were so grateful to have someone there through the night qualified to give pain relief, who was also so caring and kind. I know first hand that any funds Jacqui and I manage to raise will make a huge difference.
