In 2021 I will be doing the Tough Mudder Midlands 8-10 mile, 26 mile mighty hike through the peak district and a Skydive - for MacMillan.

Macmillan is a great charity that offer support for those going through or have been going through cancer treatment. 

We all hate that "C" word. But in tough times it's great that there are charities like MacMillan out there to offer support and advice, to both the patients and their families.

I have spoken to them personally, and the compassion and support they provide is incredible.

It's scary how common the "C" word is. In a 24 month period we have had 5 family members diagnosed. 

Thankfully we now have 1 with the all clear!  Another in remission after a 2 year battle! And another about to head into remission! 

My Pap also survived lung cancer at a good age of 80! But the reality is, that's 6 family members in 7 years. It's scary it is that common! It's scary for those going through their treatment and it can hold an everlasting impact after treatment which is why it's important we have charities like MacMillan who offer a multitude of services.

So in 2021 year I will be running/hiking (and now falling through the sky) for MacMillan, but mostly for my family, those who are still with us and those that are now watching down on us.
