Story
My little Evie-Rose was born at 34 weeks. She was so tiny at 4.11, was jaundice, had low blood sugar, low blood pressure and put on antibiotics due to a possible mixing of our blood during the C Section. She had to be put on just fluids, so had cannulas in her tiny hands and feet, had regular heel prick tests, and checked for a multitude of possible health issues. By day 3 in NICU luckily the tests came back clear. Our stay in NICU from then on was all about getting her weight and blood sugars up, jaundice down, and feeding properly without her feeding tube.
Evie-Rose and I spent 10 long hard and emotional days in intensive and special care, and was discharged healthy!
I cannot thank the nurses enough for not only doing an amazing job with Evie, but actually me aswell! I'm sure anyone who has been in my situation will agree, they do an absolutely fantastic, very challenging and even scary job at times! And remain happy and supportive whenever you need it!
It was a really tough time for me and my husband, and I cant thank the nurses enough for teaching me how to care for my little premmie.
So I want to raise money for their ward as a thank you for looking after my beautiful little girl! And donate money so that they can buy more of the specialist equipment to treat and care for these very poorly babies!
Dig deep people!!
