Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!!
On 17th May 2014 I will be in New York running the half marathon to support the charity J.A.C.K which stands for Joining Against Cancer in Kids.
If running 13 miles wasn't hard enough... I will be running this wearing half my police uniform - shirt, epaulettes, and of course "that" bowler hat!
I would love it if you could support this fantastic cause by giving a little because it is an amazing charity that makes a real difference to peoples lives.
Thank you so much,

A bit about what we are doing...
On May 15th 2014 'Jack's PACK' - Police Against Cancer in Kids - will once again fly to New York to take part in its annual fund raiser. Set up in memory of 7 year old Jack Brown, jack.org (Joining Against Cancer in Kids) is a registered charity that helps children with the childhood cancer neuroblastoma. Jack's PACK is the charity's biggest fundraising team. All monies raised assist the costs of sending children abroad to recieve potentially life saving treatment and also to further research into this terrible disease and so 82 members of the Met, Essex, Surrey, Suffolk, and the British Transport Police will complete a half marathon in uniform from the waist up and then take part in a plane pull at JFK airport. The Pack will pull a JetBlue Airways Airbus A320 against members of U.S law enforcement and airport agencies including teams from New York New Jersey Ports Authority Police, Jet Blue, British Airways and the NY State Troopers.
All the officers pay for the trip themselves and all the monies raised will go to the charity.
