I am raising money for the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust, which is an essential charity for anyone who has had an ectopic pregnancy. Unfortunately, minimal support and advice is given by the NHS but they did save my life 3 times. Which I am very grateful. if you are going through this. The EPT charity helps people who are going through this with information and support.
I want to raise awareness of ectopic pregnancy
Iv had 3 ectopic pregnancys and a misscarge. In January 2017 we found out we was pregnant and 9th of February I had an injection for a ectopic pregnancy. During this time I was in a lot of pain and really confused and anxious about everything. Eventually, we was given a scan and the worst was confirmed, it was ectopic. Still at this point I didn't fully understand what this meant, I knew that my pregnancy wasn't going to turn into a baby but I didn't understand just how life threatening an ectopic pregnancy was. In May 2017 we found out we was pregnant again and then very quickly turned out to be a very early misscarge. On May 5th 2017. And in September 2017 we found out we was pregnant again which also ended up in an ectopic pregnancy. I had to have emergency surgery treatment and they took our baby along with my left fallopian tube. Also had internal bleeding a a big blood clot next to the baby in the tube. In November 2019 we found out we was pregnant again. Which ended up being an ectopic pregnancy again 3rd 1 which ended with my right fallopian tube being removed along with the baby. I can not put in to words how much pain thus caused me and my partner . mentally and physically . And the pain never goes away. We want a baby so much. Our only option now is to have ivf.which we awaiting.
If you would like to donate to help support the trust to continue doing what they do I would be extremely grateful. Ectopics are more common than you would think, it's just not spoken about often enough.
