This campaign aims to raise enough money to support 50 vulnerable students attend school in Kathmandu, Nepal. These children are very poor and at risk or having to work or beg for a living.

Story

Two years ago we raised enough money to support 50 very poor children attend our link school in Kathmandu, Nepal. These children had lost family and homes after the earthquake of April 2015. That money has now run out and we need to raise more if we are going to encourage these children to stay in school rather than leave and work for a living or even beg on the streets. It costs about £100 to support one student for a year. This pays for their school uniform, shoes and equipment. It pays for a lunch each day and also the bus journey to and from school if they live along way away. So we are hoping to raise enough money to carry on supporting 50 children this school year.
