I'm running in memory of my inspirational mum Elizabeth.

Unfortunately she passed away last October after a long battle with Cancer. Inspirational as throughout her treatments she never lost her sense of humour, determination to fight the disease or smile that was always firmly fixed on her face whether she was having a good or bad day!!

As much as I can I'm trying to apply the same approach to my marathon training...........

Macmillan and the Health Team that supported us were amazing! As in all these things you don't get to realise the impact and strength you receive from the people around you except in your time of need. We were never disappointed and in fact continually impressed by the compassion and commitment to providing my mum with the care she needed.

Please help me remember my mum in style and give willingly to those that helped her and our family when we most needed it.
