Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As some of you are aware my stepdad (my dad) Pete, lost his short battle with cancer in January this year.
This man had been in my life since the age of 5. He was the most supportive, caring and gentle person you could meet and the loss of his life is devastating to us. He was an extremely outgoing person, raced motorbikes and generally looked for fun in anything he did!
At the end of July 2022, he had a fall and was taken into hospital. After a short time, he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma multiforme, an incurable form of cancer and In January this year, he lost his battle. His passing has left a huge, huge gap in all of our lives and we were by no means ready for this to happen!
I have decided to take on the Lake District Challenge, to walk 100km in 2 days, to raise money and awareness for Brain Tumour Research so that others have a better fighting chance. ♥️
