London to Paris Cycle · 27 September 2017

Lia’s Wings is a national charity that ensures babies and children can access vital medical treatment and care.

Story

On 27th September, I am taking on just over 300 miles by cycling London to Paris over the course of four days to raise money for Lucy Air Ambulance for Children.   London to Paris will be beyond anything I will have attempted before and an immense challenge but something I am also very excited about doing.  The training is going to be tough as well as a big commitment but the elation I will feel arriving in Paris, and at the same time raising money for a very worthy cause, will make it all worth it.

I will be celebrating my 50th birthday just a few days after I arrive in Paris (if my legs get me there) so I couldn’t think of a better year to do this - Why couldn’t I just have a party like everyone else!!!

Lucy Air Ambulance for Children and myself will appreciate any donations no matter how small to show your support! Please see below for more details about the charity.

Please note: A proportion of monies raised goes towards funding the challenge.
