On april 23rd 2013 our lives got turned upside down. At 37weeks pregnant we went to the QEH hospital to then be told they couldn't find a heart beat. Our baby boy was never going to live the life we envisioned for him, instead we were planning a funeral for our little angel. Giving birth knowing you won't hear your baby cry as he enters the world is something I would never wish on anyone. I never knew or heard of stillbirth until it happened to us. Back then there was no one like Theresa around to make these keepsakes for us either. All we had of our son Mylo is hand and feet prints,  a picture and his teddy. Theresa heard about our loss and made us wooden stars with his name engraved and keyring beads with his name on too and that really helped me in so many ways. We are raising money so that bereaved parents get a chance to have more than we did at that time, so they can have something of their child to hold on to. It truly helps in those tough times. I've seen Theresa's work and that's why we are holding Mylo's Masquerade charity ball  on the 14th October 2023. It's not only to honour Mylo on his 10th birthday but also raise funds to support such a great charity and to continue raising awareness of stillbirth.
