Story

Those who know me well, know that I am definitely not a fitness fanatic in any way!!!

However, I have decided to take the plunge and commit to completing the Peak District Challenge Bronze Challenge - which involves completing a 50km hike within 12 hours - all while self-navigating... D-Day is the 21st September.

Preparation is underway, and so far I have started training through occasional jogs round the block (which have just near killed me), rainy walks in the Staffordshire Roaches, and a walk up Snowdon.

This preparation has only made me realise how much of a challenge the hike is going to be! The Peak District Challenge will require a lot more energy and resilience and to know that I have been able to raise a decent about of money for The Booth Centre would really spur me on..

Therefore I would ask if you could please support me with any amount you can spare, through donating on this JustGiving page.

The Booth Centre is a fantastic charity which my brother has been involved with for several years, so I have witnessed their fantastic work with homeless people upfront.

Thanks for the support!!
