This summer LBIC are raising money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of Lily, the wife of one of our teachers. 

As a college we have decided to run the  Richmond Summer Riverside 10k to raise as much money as possible for a worthy cause. We are mixed abilities group with some of us are aiming for a sub 50min 10k, some of us are aiming to run for the full 10k and some of us are aiming to walk the full course, but we are all in it together.

Heart Disease is the number 1 cause of death globally; more people die annually from Heart Disease than from any other cause. And it doesn't just effect adults, Heart Disease is the number 1 birth defect globally with nearly one in every 100 babies being born with a heart defect.

Any donations you can afford is appreciated and every penny counts towards getting us running in support of British Heart Foundation!
