The family respectfully request no flowers for the funeral of Lawrie.  Instead we ask that, should you wish to, you donate to the Lake District Foundation.  Lawrie was very fond of this area of the county and he introduced all his children and many friends to its beauty.

The donations will sponsor a fingerpost, a stile or even a gate, any of which would bear a plaque in his memory.
