I was diagnosed with a brain tumour in July 2019.  The subsequent surgery left me literally speechless (it's come back now) and, with the help of the Macmillan team in Hull I made it through 6 weeks of intensive radiotherapy and a year of chemotherapy.

The chemotherapy finished in April 2021.  Whilst i'll never be cancer free, I feel that the Macmillan team in Hull contributed to my mental well-being and helped me make informed decisions at critical stages of my treatment.  I will be forever grateful to the team for their help, support, advice and guidance.
