Story

After 20 really happy years in General Practice, I am now working with another amazing team of people at the hospice in Christchurch.  I was a junior doctor here back in 1994 and the Unit was already 20 years old then.  It's time for a re-build! The demand (and sadly, the need) for our service is growing and the new building will hugely enhance the support we can offer.

We provide Specialist Palliative Care to people with any life-limiting illness. Our service covers Bournemouth, Southbourne, Christchurch and Highcliffe, as well as Ferndown, West Moors, Verwood and Ringwood.  It is a real privilege to be able to support our patients and their loved ones through such a vulnerable time. Our multidisciplinary team takes a holistic approach to caring for them in life, in death and in grief.

As you consider how much to donate, please visualise my shaved head...

Thank you in anticipation
