Story
Over the next few weeks I’m going to be running 150km to raise vital funds and awareness for Crumlin Children’s Hospital, a hospital very close to our hearts.
As a newborn, my sister was diagnosed with with Fallot’s Tetralogy & Hemitruncus Arteriosis, both congenital heart conditions which required major open-heart surgery. Ella is one of many children in Ireland who have been cared for & supported by the most amazing team of doctors & nurses in Crumlin, something we are forever grateful for.
This year has been the most challenging yet for Crumlin and fundraising like this allows their healthcare professionals to continue to provide life-saving care to thousands of other sick children in Ireland. Donations will contribute towards vital life-saving healthcare equipment, patient & parental supports as well as paediatric research.
This month we celebrated Ella’s 15th year since undergoing surgery and we have Crumlin to thank for that ☺️ Running 150k is nothing compared to what all the amazing children & their families go through everyday. We would be hugely appreciative of any small donations to this amazing cause ❤️
