Story
The little princess trust was set up in memory of Hannah Tarplee, a little girl from Hereford who sadly lost her short battle with cancer in June 2005.
Hannah's illness was diagnosed during her first term at Hereford cathedral junior school. When chemotherapy caused the loss of her hair, Wendy and Simon her parents found it difficult to obtain a suitable wig in child's size. They had one specially made for Hannah but it was very expensive. During Hannah's illness many friends wanted to donate money to help, perhaps to send her on a special holiday, sadly this did not happen.
After Hannah died, with this modest amount of money donated, her parents chose to set up this charity with the support of the school and their friends. This was so that as many children as possible who needed help would benefit and receive a real hair wig free of charge.
