**I completed the London Marathon in 4 hours, 48 minutes and 6 seconds.  Thank you to all that have sponsored me and was there to support me on the day.  I had an amazing day... would i do it again? I have not decided that one yet! **

**I completed my first half marathon in preparation for London on Sunday 9th March - The Brentwood half.  My completion time was 2hrs, 1 min and 54 seconds.. Not long until the big 26.2 now!**

Sunday 13th April 2008, The London Marathon, and yes, i'm planning on running all the 26.2 miles of it.. can someone please convince me i am insane..

Most of you know me, and most of you would say i was up to the challenge mentally, but physically, i'm a bit rusty!  These legs have not pounded the streets since my senior school days, so now they are back.. and they shall be used!

I have chosen to run for Havens Hospices.  It incorporates Fair Havens and Little Havens Children's Hospice;

Fair Havens is the adult hospice based in Westcliff on Sea in Essex and it cares for those suffering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses.

Little Havens is the Children's Hospice in Essex offering regular respite and end of life care to children and their families of whom are affected by life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses.  Little Havens supports children from all over Essex and Inner and Outer London.

To me, hospices like Havens deserve every penny they can get to continue their on-going, and needless to say, extraordinary care for adults and children and i want to be part of helping them continuing to achieve this!
