Story

On April 12th, 2020, during the global pandemic, we lost my nan, Amanda Meredith to Pancreatic Cancer.

St David's Hospice was on hand to give fantastic support to my family during such a difficult time in our lives and it only feels right that it's my turn to get the trainers on and raise some money!

To celebrate my nan's 80th Birthday on the 19th May 2021, I've decided that I am going to attempt to walk the distance between her home in Cwmbran and the town in which she was born, Romsey, Hampshire. Those who know me, will know that this will be a challenge, which I'm willing to accept!

My challenge is to walk the distance of 101 miles (162.5km) from 19th May 2021 to 19th June 2021.

I'll be recording the walks on Strava & posting my progress on my Twitter (@missknightsci) throughout the month, mainly for the entertainment of my form class who have encouraged me to do this distance!

We've already raised £710 in Nan's memory, If I can get that up to £1000, It would mean the world to me.
