Why this, and why now?
Some of you will know that I've worked at InFocus since Christmas 2018. The young people we support are incredible. They face so many other challenges as well as a vision impairment (you'll have probably heard me say that we're "not just the blind school").
There are also inspirational staff who are committed to making sure that these young adults have their best day, whilst also being highly trained to:
The one thing that I can do is to help make sure that they have the best facilities and equipment, and everything that's available to help these amazing young people to live their best lives.
More about InFocus
InFocus is an amazing charity that supports children and young adults with vision impairment and other disabilities to live amazing lives.
They’re based in Exeter, but they actually support people from around the country.
The children and young adults they support face huge barriers to learning, living and taking an active, independent place in their own communities.
By raising money for InFocus I’m going to be helping them to use their voice, provide specialist equipment that can help them to explore their world, and give them the chance to live with more independence.
Most of us can’t image what it would be like to live without our sight, let alone having other challenges and disabilities that might get in the way of doing the things we want to do.
Please donate anything you can to support my crazy skydive adventure, and to help this charity with its important work.
Thanks for reading my story!
