My Mum recently passed away from ovarian cancer. I had no previous knowledge or experience of this terrible disease, and only found out from experience that by the time symptoms are evident, it's already too late to be able to be treated. I felt that I wanted to help prevent this happening to other families in the future, and have therefore signed up for a sponsored cycle ride this summer. I will be riding with Ovarian Cancer Action from Glasgow to London, over the course of 5 days, covering an average of 100 miles per day. I am seeking donations, however large or small, from everyone I know, in order to raise the maximum amount possible!
