Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Family and friends will be walking in the footsteps of Jali on Saturday June 18th to raise money for a charity that meant a great deal to him. Jonathan was a regular visitor to the Maggie's centre in Manchester while he was being treated at Christie Hospital.
The walk is 4 miles in length and starts in the centre of Hawkshaw at 11am. It goes up Hawkshaw Lane past Jali's home, Bramley Fold Farm, before crossing the fields via a public footpath to the Holcombe Rifle Range (home to the famous Krypton factor assault course). After crossing Red Brook the walk climbs up through Saplin Wood onto Holcombe Moor. After a climb to Peel Tower at the top of Holcombe Hill, the walk descends to the village of Holcombe we will stop for lunch at the Shoulder of Mutton pub. We then walk back to Hawkshaw via Holcombe Brook (the Hare & Hounds), finishing at St Mary's Church.
