I have worked for Southern Area Hospice Services, Newry for 10 years now and I am very proud to have had the privilage to work with a very dedicated and compassionate group of people. Southern Area Hospice provides caer to people who have incurable disease through respite care, day care, out patient services and inpatient services. The hospice has 12 beds and while most patients (67%) are discharged home after a 10 day stay unfortunately some require terminal care. This specialist service allows families to spend precious time together while not having to worry about providing care or have any concerns about symptom control. I see the great work Southern Area Hospice does every week. I would be most grateful if you could help me support it's important work - thank you.
