We fund medical equipment and services to give our children the best possible care

Story

Another Star in the Sky was set up in memory of Ahmar Javed, who we lost very suddenly in 2017 at only 13 years old due to a rare, hidden and previously undiagnosed condition called AVM. It is so rare that hardly anyone has heard of it unless they have sadly been affected by it. Through Another Star in the Sky, we aim to raise awareness of AVM and to fund research towards finding a cure for this cruel condition. We also fund bereavement services at RHC Glasgow.
