Story

In July it will be a year since my wonderful Dad took his own life. So this June I will be joining CALM in walking/running 90 miles.

Every 90 minutes someone dies by suicide and I hate to think of more families going through what we have

Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives. CALM exists to change this - by offering life-saving services, provoking national conversation, and bringing people together to reject living miserably.

Despite having two daughters who absolutely adored him, 3 grandchildren that thought he was a superhero and many best friends who have told us Dad changed their life Dad was living miserably, with undiagnosed mental health conditions and unresolved grief from losing his own parents.

No-one should suffer in silence, so as well as walking 90 miles I will also be talking about the effects suicide has on families.

Dads favourite amount when asked for anything was saying "I could spare £3.50" ... So if you would like to donate that would be the perfect amount.

Dad, we miss you, we love you and we wish you stayed. 💔 💔💔
