I am proud and excited to have become an ambassador for the Starlight charity. A really inspiring organisation that takes their passion to the bedsides of some of the most poorly children in hospital. 

Their mission is to 'use the power of play to make the experience of illness and treatment better for children and their families’ .

Starlight have provided countless support to the urgent treatment centre (UTC) providing toys and distraction boxes which helps the children to relax, play, distract them from their reality and gain a positive experience of being in hospital. 

Recently, we were thrilled that Starlight provided a Nintendo Switch for the UTC. Unfortunately we still desperately need to raise money for a Rockin R's gaming cart to ensure safety of both the console and the children while they use the console in our department. 

To help fundraise for this, I have signed up for this Tough Mudder. A 10k race with a lot of mud and difficult obstacles along the way. Anyone who knows me will understand that I HATE to run. HATE it! 

I would love for you to sponsor me with as little or much as you can to reach the target of £2,421.02.  If possible I would like to exceed this so that i can also give back to the charity as much as possible, for their incredible work. 

This is certainly going to be a challenge of mind body and soul to complete it
