At the young age of 44, my dad was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer. Despite a hard and courageous battle, we lost him 14 months later. This left our family devastated as he had left behind 4 young children. It is difficult to explain the pain and traumor that a terminal cancer diagnosis brings, particularly for such a young and strong man who had everything to live for. 

I'm raising money to give something back to the Royal Marsden for the amazing work they provide to patients and their families. The hospital encounters some of the most professional, most compassionate and inspirational people, who just do the most amazing work for everyone in such an awful situation.
