I have set up this page as I plan to walk (and if needed crawl!) to the top of Snowdon to show that if you have the fire and determination to do something - anything is possible and whilst doing this I'd like to raise money for a charity which is close to me!

I was born with Spinabifida and Hydracephalus which wasn't easy living with growing up. Although it never stopped me doing most things, there are certain areas of my life it limited. SHINE is there to support people like me who live with this disability and provide them with the resources and help to maximise their lives. That in itself is the life saver of some and it would be nice to tell the world a bit more and fundraise for this extraordinary charity that helps so many. 

7 Months ago I underwent life changing surgery to slow down the deterioration of my disability and with that improve the quality of my life, ultimately to stay as independent as I can for as long as I can. I am not the only one who wants that in the world either. It has given me a new lease of life and I am now able to fulfill some of the goals I aspired to complete years ago but never could. Some people are not so lucky to have this chance but I know SHINE help so many to make some of their dreams and goals a reality but giving them that support. 

Ultimately I want to show to the world that it doesn't matter what your ability may be, if you want to achieve something you will find a way. It would be lovely to be in a world that your not judged just because you may be a bit different. I'd like to help educate the public on disabilities and that those who fall into this 'category' of people are now different from anyone else.
