As many of you know I work for Marie Curie and I’m hugely proud and passionate about the support we are able to provide for people in such awful situations. I normally spend my days supporting & encouraging people to fundraise and support us - but now I feel it’s my turn!

I am turning 30 this month (arghh!!!) and have numerous celebrations planned, however due to the Coronavirus everything is on hold! So I thought to set up a virtual bar - buy yourself (and me if you like!) a “drink off my cocktail menu!” - with all the money donated to Marie Curie instead. Look on my update posts or in my gallery for the cocktail menu - and post your order with your donation!

It costs £20 for an hour of nursing care - and £180 for one of our nurses to do an over night shift at somebody’s house. Times now are harder than ever - families are isolating and cannot visit their loved ones - they desperately need Marie Curie’s care & support.

I am lucky enough to see first hand the difference donations make and how much our services help people at such a difficult time. Every single person deserves to die with dignity and not alone. At time of national emergency, when the NHS is being put under extreme strain, these crucial services are needed more than ever.

So I’ll look forward to seein’ in my 30s with you when this is all over - but until then let’s do all we can for those who need it the most..
