Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

My grandfather Denzil Rees was diagnosed with early dementia this year. It was super difficult to come to terms with especially after a crazy few years during the pandemic. 
My Grandfather was a steam train driver for British Railways (this is him in the picture above), my teammate for this challenge/colleague and I also work in the railway industry- so this one is for him! 

On May 28th 2023, my team and I will be participating in the ultra challenge 2023 London to Brighton (100km) in honour of this cause.
