On Saturday 4th September I will be running the Bedford ‘Spring’ half marathon (it was postponed due to the pandemic, hence ‘Spring’)

All money raised or donated will go to the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation; as this charity is immensely important to me. 

I will run in memory of my beautiful mum, who tragically and unexpectedly lost her life in May after battling this horrendous disease. She was my biggest supporter and always came to cheer me on during previous half marathons. She was still running her own 7kms (along with all the other sports and exercise she did) in March this year - such a true inspiration to me. It will be a very emotional and difficult feat, but I hope to achieve a personal best.
