Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our #TeamMiracle KiltWalker page.

A group of our charity staff, volunteers and supporters are all taking on the Glasgow KiltWalk 2023 to raise vital funds for the Miracle Foundation's bereavement and trauma support services.

The Miracle Foundation SCIO is an early intervention bereavement and trauma support organisation for Children and Young People between the age of 4 and 19 years old living throughout Lanarkshire. The charity offers support via one to one and group Counselling, Art Therapy and Mental Health services.

We are very proud to be bridging a gap in bereavement and trauma support services throughout Lanarkshire; bringing hope to Children, Young People and families at a time of need.

Many Children and Young People we provide services to are experiencing not only one bereavement or trauma but multiple adverse experiences that include issues such as; poverty, deprivation, crime, parental substance abuse, kinship care, child abuse and neglect. Early intervention for Children and Young People who have experienced multiple adverse childhood experiences is crucial in helping them cope and recover from their experiences. Our services are designed to aid in protecting and nurturing their physical, emotional and mental health and wellbeing for them to be able to thrive and reach their full life potential.

Your support can help Children, Young People and families through these distressing experiences and work towards a hopeful and thriving future.

We are so grateful for you to take the time to support our vital cause!
