Story
Im running this marathon to raise money for the Air Ambulance NI as this charity based organisation is close to my heart for saving my life on the day of my accident. It's my way of showing a massive thank you to the 'hems' team.
The Air Ambulance NI is a charity therefore it relies completely on public donations and without the fundraising they would not be able to fly and save lives
Before my accident I didnt ever think it would be a service I would need In life but without them I certainly would not be here today. Please donate anything you can, it's all going to a good cause. To saving someone's life when they're in serious need like I once was.
AANI, in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS), provides the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for the region and responds to seriously ill or injured patients 12 hours a day, 7 days per week. It costs £5,500 per day to sustain this life saving service.
