Story
As most of you will know, my amazing big sister has just finished her cancer treatment and we are absolutely over the moon that she has responded well so far!
She has fought so hard against this horrible disease which spread to her breast, bones, lungs, pelvis, ribs, face, neck and hips and she has done so with undeniable optimism and bravery, really I could not be prouder!!
Throughout her fight, she has been walking, baking cakes, and raffling off prizes for the workers at her hospice. The care and support she received from the staff at Forest Holme Poole was second to none and I am so grateful for everything they have done for her. We are so happy that we can now plan a big family Christmas together!!
Now it is my time to raise some money for the hospice!!
My challenge: Run 5km every day for the first 12 days of December.
Please donate to this fantastic cause - anything is massively appreciated no matter how big or small.
Forest Holme Hospice provides end of life care and support to more than 1,000 local people each year with advanced cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. Each year the charity needs to raise at least £850,000 to help enhance the NHS provision at the hospice and ensure that Forest Holme is there for patients and their family and friends during the most difficult time of their lives.
