On April 7th, us Kirton sisters will be running London Landmark Half Marathon for Alzheimer's Research UK. As most of you know, our Dad Ray has lived with Alzheimer's since the age of 52, having been diagnosed over 13 years ago. We have seen Dad transition from the most loving and giving Father and husband, to being incapable of doing anything for himself, with our amazing Mum acting as his primary carer for all these years.

Our Dad was adored by everyone who was lucky enough to meet him. He thrived in his career, he was the life and soul of any party. We could talk about him forever and miss the old him so much, so we are supporting Alzheimer's Research in hope that at some point in the future, families won't have to go through the heartbreak which we have. Most of you will also know that we are best known for partying and not running half marathons; so ditching the tequila for trainers is a HUGE deal to us!
