Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I have just returned from 10 weeks volunteering in India with Platform2 and have witnessed first-hand the work that Christian Aid do to combat poverty and injustice around the world. We are doing a sponsored walk to raise money for Christian Aid to assist them in their work. We aim to walk The Dales Way - Windermere to Ilkley (80 miles) - in 5 days. The money donated will help those living in poverty in developing countries around the world, providing effective assitance to those in need.

Please donate whatever you can to the cause, we appreciate anything you can give.

Thank you for taking the time to visit this page.

For those who live nearby, we will be holding a night at the Woolpack in Yeadon on Sunday 18th July (presuming we survive the walk) which will include a raffle and the chance to win a £50 cash prize, so come down the pub and win some prizes!
