Story
After running my first half marathon in 2019 for the Epilepsy Society I stopped running… I decided that it was time to set myself a new challenge and this time run a full marathon. Since obtaining a place in the London Marathon I have run a half marathon every month, and intend to do so until October.
I am fundraising for the Epilepsy Society, in honour of Mia Roberts. Mia was only 21 when she tragically died from a seizure, a year younger than I am now. Admirably, Mia chose to donate her brain for research; I hope that raising this money for the Epilepsy Society will help to carry out such important research and guidance to cure this life threatening condition.
Running for such an incredible cause will be the motivation I will undoubtably need to get across the finish line.
Please donate anything that you can - all donations are appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and helping me to reach my fundraising target! Please note, once you donate, the money will be sent directly to the charity - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
