I'm taking part in Hft's Walk & Talk event this September, to help celebrate their 60th birthday and support adults with learning disabilities. To give you some context, your sponsorship could pay for: - £20 could go towards a bowling trip for four people with learning disabilities who are part of our friendship service Luv2meetU. - £50 could help someone with a learning disability and their family feel less alone by paying for a specialist workshop where they'll learn how to access the support they need. - £100 could help give someone the tools they need to communicate with others e.g. a communication aid that makes common phrases just one button press away.
