Community Day , 23 July 2017
We support individuals to achieve improved mental wellbeing

Story

We are a group of young girls taking part in NCS, a national citizen service where young people are able to positively contribute towards their local community. We have decided to fundraise for Imagine Independance, a charity which promotes and raises awareness for mental health.

Over the next week we are regenerating a green space apart of the KGV sports centre in Huyton, with the charity HYPE supporting us alongside. We will also be doing bucket collections around the local area for Imagine.

On the final day of the regeneration project, we will be hosting a community day at the sports centre, offering cake and sweet sales, face paints, games, and the chance for the public to see our work to show that young people can still make a positive contribution to society.
