We fund medical equipment and services to give our children the best possible care

Story

On the 1st May 2020 at just 3 months old  Awen was taken into hospital where later that evening an x ray would show that her heart was enlarged.

This wasn’t something known or expected and resulted in doctor’s finding a large hole (VSD) in her heart. Less than two weeks later Awen had open heart surgery to repair the large VSD and two smaller ASD’s consequently discovered.

To mark the anniversary of this and turn it into something positive we would like to give back to those doctors and nurses who cared tirelessly for our little one during what was already a challenging time for them all. We will never be able to thank them enough for their kindness and compassion and for giving us our lovely little dancing, smiling baban Awen. We hope that the money raised can go on to support and give other children the best possible treatment and care that they need.

For the month of May Ian and I have pledged to do 5km each a day. This will be a mixture of walking, running, cycling and rowing with Awen and Bruno joining in throughout the way. We will keep you posted on our journey with weekly updates and thank you in advance for anything that you can donate to support a cause which will always remain close to our hearts. 💕
