Story

Child Bereavement is a UK wide charity which aims to support children and their families when a child grieves or a child dies. They also support families who have lost loved ones suddenly and as a result of a road collision.

As a family, we know the importance of this. On 23rd May 2010 we lost our amazing Dad very suddenly and our lives were turned upside down. Last year saw the 10 year anniversary of this tragic time in our lives and unfortunately due to Covid-19 we were not able to commemorate this in anyway. Therefore this year, Rebecca and myself have decided to walk the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on the 15th May (a week before the 11th anniversary) with a group of our friends and raise some money for a fantastic charity, in memory of our amazing Dad. Our Dad was and still is the most amazing man we will ever know, his smile lit up and room and he was the kindest, most loving and most selfless person we know. We miss him so very much but everything we do, we do with him in our hearts and minds forever.

Please donate, if possible, to an incredible charity which provides invaluable support to families and children who have experienced grief and loss. Life is never same after the loss of a loved one, but charities like Child Bereavement provide hope and a glimmer of light on some of the darkest of days. Thank you ❤️
