Story
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.
In September, I will be running the Great North Run and donating all proceeds raised to Cats Protection (Tyneside) which is a charity that’s extremely close to mine and my family’s hearts.
My mam, Susan, has taken in 4 stray cats in the last few years because she couldn’t bear to see them starving on the streets , abandoned by careless owners. 3 of these cats then gave birth to 10 kittens. Although my mam would definitely have kept all of them if she could afford to, Cats Protection enabled her to neuter the mams and safely rehome the kittens that she couldn’t afford to keep. They also help other fosterers keep doing what they do to ensure as many kitties as possible find new families.
Anyone who knows me knows that I am not a runner so this will possibly be the most difficult challenge of my life to date... please donate as much or as little as you can, I massively appreciate anything you can give.
Thanks so much,
Lauren x
